First Contact Paramedics
Our PCN First Contact Paramedics are linked to specific Primary Care Networks (PCN), and work within PCN GP practices and the community, as autonomous and accountable practitioners in the provision of a holistic approach for individuals. They assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury. Using their advanced clinical skills, they will also provide education to patients, promoting self-care and empower them to make informed choices about their treatment.
Working hours
Monday to Friday. Usual GP Practice working hours: 8:00am – 6:30pm.
Appointment information and/or Referral Criteria
Appointments are allocated to patients within the PCN at the discretion of the practices.

Our Paramedic Service operates currently from MMWF PCN, and we are currently recruiting for additional paramedics for other PCNs
